Stretch Mark Revision

Softening the texture and visibility of stretch marks from pregnancy, growth, or weight change — with pigment, without it, or both.

What it is

Stretch marks are scars, and they respond to the same two approaches. Inkless revision uses a pigment-free serum to prompt the skin to remodel, improving texture. Camouflage deposits color-matched pigment so pale, silvery marks blend into your natural skin tone.

Which one suits you depends on whether your marks are mostly a texture issue, mostly a color issue, or both. We look at them together at your consultation and build the plan from there — and if I don’t think treatment will give you a result you’ll be happy with, I’ll say so.

Who it’s for

  • Stretch marks from pregnancy
  • Stretch marks from growth spurts
  • Stretch marks from weight change or muscle gain
  • Pale or silvery marks lighter than the surrounding skin
  • Marks with a pronounced texture
  • Marks that are fully healed and no longer red or purple

Typical treatment timeline

  • Inkless stretch mark revision: most clients benefit from 2 to 4 treatments, scheduled 6 to 8 weeks apart to allow the skin to fully heal and remodel.
  • Stretch mark camouflage: most clients require 2 to 3 sessions, depending on the size of the treatment area and how the skin retains pigment, generally scheduled every 6 to 8 weeks.

What to Expect

Your treatment, start to finish

The same five steps for every client, so you always know what comes next.

  1. Complimentary Consultation

Every treatment begins with a complimentary consultation, either in person or virtually. We’ll discuss your goals, your medical history when applicable, evaluate the treatment area, and determine whether you’re a good candidate. You’ll receive a personalized treatment plan based on your skin, your goals, and your expected outcome. If I don’t believe someone is a good candidate, I’ll always be honest and recommend the best course of action.

  2. Personalized Treatment Plan

We’ll go over the recommended treatment, expected results, pricing, the estimated number of sessions, the healing timeline, and aftercare before moving forward. Every treatment plan is customized, because no two scars — and no two clients — are the same.

  3. Treatment Day

Treatments are performed in a private studio using sterile, single-use equipment and professional-quality products. Most appointments last between one and three hours, depending on the size and complexity of the area being treated.

  4. Healing & Aftercare

You’ll receive detailed written aftercare instructions following your procedure. Most treatments heal over approximately two to four weeks, while final results become visible around six to eight weeks as the skin completes the healing process.

  5. Follow-Up

After healing, we’ll evaluate the results together and decide whether an additional treatment or refinement is recommended. Because everyone’s skin heals differently, treatment recommendations are always individualized.

Questions about stretch mark revision

Have one that isn’t here? Just reach out — no question is too small.

Do my stretch marks need to be white, not red?

Yes. Red or purple marks are still new and still changing. We want them fully healed and settled to their final pale color before treating — otherwise we’d be matching a color that isn’t finished moving.

Can you get rid of them completely?

No treatment removes stretch marks entirely, and I won’t tell you otherwise. What we can do is soften the texture and reduce the contrast so they blend in and stop catching the light — for most clients that is a meaningful difference.

Which treatment do I need?

If the marks are mostly a texture problem, inkless revision. If they are mostly a color problem — pale lines against darker skin — camouflage. Many clients get the best result from a combination, in that order.

How large an area can you treat?

It depends on the area and your comfort. Larger areas are usually broken into sessions rather than done all at once. We’ll map out the plan at your consultation.

Will it work on my skin tone?

Both treatments are performed on all skin tones. Camouflage in particular is entirely about matching your tone, and a patch test is often recommended to confirm how your skin takes and holds pigment.
